A missed or unconfirmed payment

What to do after a decline, during confirmation or when your bank shows a hold.

A declined payment and a payment that's still being confirmed are different, and need different next steps. A slow answer doesn't mean a payment failed.

Declined or missed payment

A declined payment means no money was taken. The amount is still owed.

  • We'll try again once, at least 24 hours later, at the time shown on your plan.
  • Some declines, such as an expired or closed card, can't be retried. We'll ask you to update your card instead. Once the new card is on file, you can pay the missed payment from your plan page.
  • If the second try also fails, Norvoch will contact you to sort out the next step.

If you retry the payment yourself from your plan page, it replaces the scheduled retry. Later payments may wait until the missed one is paid, and if several payments are overdue, Norvoch may agree new dates with you.

If your deposit is declined during setup, your plan isn't set up yet. You can try another card.

Still confirming

Your card may already have been charged. Please don't pay again.

Norvoch is checking the original payment. If you see Check Confirmation, it checks that same payment; it never charges you again. We can't promise how long this takes. Closing the page doesn't cancel the payment, and any money we've received stays counted as paid while we check.

A pending amount at your bank

When you add a card, your bank may show a small temporary amount. That's a card check, not a payment, and it drops off on its own. Your bank decides when pending amounts disappear, even after a plan is cancelled.

Your plan page shows whether a payment actually went through. If you're unsure, contact Norvoch.
